Critical Reading! First step to a Meaningful Learning

For many years, most of EFL classroom do not provide an effective reading activity for their students. The activities which are provided in the classroom are only related to lower level reading comprehension followed by boring reading comprehension exercises involve multiple choice items, true-false statements, and vocabulary work of the type that requires students to supply a synonym or antonym for the words given. This condition proves ineffective teaching reading skill. Basically, the soul reading readings is encouraging student’s critical reading skill because this critical reading is really valuable for improving students’ analysis and mind map.
